- Founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- He was born in the year 1874 in the city of Riyadh to Al Saud family.
- He died in the city of Taif in November 1953.
- He was buried in his hometown city of Riyadh, capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

- Unification of most of the provinces of the Arabian Peninsula under the name: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Establishing the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense, Interior, Finance, and Transportation.
- Foundation of court systems, management of Hajj, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, telephone and telegraph, hospitals and ambulance services, scholarships, radio and television.
- Launching the first shipment of oil exported from port of Ras Tanura (1939).
- Opening a number of hospitals, schools and mosques.
- The foundation of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency in Jeddah.
- Establishing of Saudi Arabian Airlines.
- The foundation of the Shura Council for which he presided the last meeting soon just before his death.
